Start / Finish
> The Multisport, Duathlon, Paddle Only, Mountain Bike Only and Mountain Run Only options all start at Race HQ, which is Whitireia Campus, Wineera Dve, Porirua.
> The Arena Fitness Fun Run/Walk (including Youth Challenge) starts on Titahi Bay beach, outside the Surf Club (limited parking on Toms Rd, so factor on walking to the start from either end of the beach, or parking on Tireti Road).
> All events finish at Race HQ, which is Whitireia Campus, Wineera Dve, Porirua.

Paddle Section – 10k
The 10km paddle takes in Porirua Harbour and Puatahanui Inlet.
As well as Multisport solo and team participants there is a Paddle-Only event open to kayaks, surf skis, paddle boards and waka-ama.
Mountain Bike Section – 24k
You won’t be disappointed with out exciting new Mountain Bike section for 2016.
With heaps of single track and stunning views over Porirua and the Tasman Sea, the course starts with the same loop around Takapuwahia, but then heads to Colonial Knob/Rangituhi where it takes in the new single track network before a climb up to the top ridge.
As well as Multisport and Duathlon participants in solo and team options, there is a Mountain Bike Only race.
Mountain Run Section – 18k
18km Mountain Run on same course as Multisporters and Duathletes.
Arena Fitness Fun Run/Walk
The 7.5km Fun Run/Walk is on a unique course from Titahi Bay around the Whitireia Park coastline to finish at HQ.
It also incorporates the Schools Challenge, with year group prizes for first boy & girl and a prize for the school with the most entrants. So organise your kids and your school now.
> All roads, tracks & waterways are open to the public. There will be marshals at strategic points, including road crossings. But participants must obey all the road rules, give way to the public and traffic on all parts of the course, and take responsible for their own actions and decisions at all times.
> The course will be marked with a mix of arrows and tape.
> Please do not climb fences.
> Closed gates often have stiles, but if you are forced to climb gates please climb on the hinge side.
> Participants must be self-sufficient in terms of food, hydration & equipment.
> Parts of both the Mountain Bike and Mountain Run course are on private land not normally open to the public (see course descriptions for more details on which parts). Please respect the land owner’s by not using these areas outside of the race.
